Abstract: | Education has faced a notorious change for the global situation, these changes obliging everyone to adopt online tools for educational purposes. Both teachers and students have experienced the advantages and disadvantages of working through online platforms to perform their roles. For instance, talking about English skills this research was focused on Speaking. During online classes, speaking gained favorable outcomes for students such as the use of some technological tools to practice it with peers or alone. Students who participated in the project belong to a public school, they were a group of 7 volunteers. Those students showed difficulties developing their speaking skills, the researcher realized that because students do not use English to communicate. In addition, students tended to use a limited vocabulary all the time for different situations. Thus, the researcher included different topics and a variety of new vocabulary to encourage students to use for communication among themselves or with others. Exposing students to opportunities for practicing and using the language they are learning, benefits them to get confidence for future interactions. In addition, students who are well trained for self-assessment could monitor their progress autonomously. |
