Programa digital infantil dirigido a niños y familias durante el confinamiento desde la perspectiva familiar

Abstract

This study focused on the knowledge of the impact of digital programs aimed at children in the initial stage of early childhood, applied from home due to the situation of confinement in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, generating an investigative work that involved the participation of the family as mediators in this process. The general objective was: to analyze the effects of the digital children's program PREMI-Mi Casita Grande during confinement, from the perspective of families. To achieve the purpose, the qualitative approach methodology was used, with a descriptive scope and a non-experimental design. The population was 160 families, the sample was obtained by non-probabilistic method, by the voluntary criterion of participation, and was structured by 10 fathers or mothers constituted as key informants of the research process. The instrument designed was an interview with open questions, applied virtually. The information collected was organized and classified according to the objectives. Categories and subcategories were systematically specified that allowed the content of the interviews to be analyzed. The results obtained revealed that the PREMI-Mi Casita Grande virtual program applied from home, according to the perception of the participating mothers. positively influenced children and their families during the time of confinement due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There were some difficulties typical of a process of social-physical distancing plus the threat of the economic crisis, this was solved satisfactorily. The progress achieved in the evolutionary development of the little ones was evidenced in the motor and language area, this was reported by the families and also the bonds of acceptance, love and tolerance between the families were strengthened.
